The Weaver

An AI game master for your table, on your TV.

Never without a game master From 49 € a month

A voice.

A presence.

A memory.

The Weaver on the TV: the ember ring mid-sentence, the spoken line as a caption, and the sheets of two characters at the sides

It runs the whole game. It plans the campaign with you or for you, plays every innkeeper and every dragon, asks for the roll when a roll is due, and keeps the story straight across months of sessions because it writes down what happened. The room sounds like where you are: rain on the road, a crowded tavern, water dripping in the dark below.

It is not a person and does not pretend to be one. On the screen it is a cloud of ember threads in orbit that drifts while it listens, tightens while it thinks, and throws sparks with every word it speaks. That ring is the brand, the same on the TV, the phone and this page.

How a night goes

One evening in three acts. Nobody has to prepare, nobody has to sit behind the screen, and everybody gets to play.

Gather

Phones join with a room code

The host opens the TV. Everyone’s character sheet is already on their phone, and the Weaver greets the party by name with a recap of last time.

Evening in a living room: over the shoulder of a player holding a phone, the TV on the wall shows the Weaver's ember ring, the sheets of Mara and Wren, and the line it is speaking; dice and a candle on the low table

Play

Talk to it. Roll real dice

You speak; it answers in voice. When a roll is due it puts the dice and the modifier on the TV. Roll on the table and say the number, or throw the dice on the screen. In a fight it keeps the turn order and shows what you can do.

A fight on the TV: the turn order with the party and two foes across the top, Mara's choices, and a gilded twenty-sided die that has just landed beside the ring: 16 plus 4, a 20 to hit

Weave

Nothing is forgotten

After every scene it writes the facts into the world: the promise you made, the guard you insulted, the name of the inn. Three sessions later, the guard remembers too, and your campaign page keeps the whole story.

A campaign on the Weaver: where the party stopped, last session's recap, the party with their hit points, the open threads and the Weaver's journal of people and places

One storm, every mood

Calm, the table is talking among itself

A sigil, never a face

The name and the mark

The Weaver weaves the story from what the players give it. The mark is the ember ring itself: one thread closed into a circle, its end woven back over its start, a gold knot where they cross, and sparks thrown outward as it speaks. On screen the ring comes alive as thousands of ember threads; in print it stays still.

At small sizes, in the app and on a browser tab, the sigil is a single ember ring.

Colour, type and voice

Near-black ground, ember and gold for light, bone for words. Cinzel for names and headings, Cormorant for everything read. The Weaver speaks in second person, present tense, and never calls itself an AI mid-scene.
